Reverse Your Fatty Liver Smokey Sweet Beans & Tomatoes

Servings: 4 servings
- 1 Tbsp Bragg Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 medium onion diced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tsp sweet & smokey paprika
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 15 oz cans butter beans(lima beans) drained and rinsed
- 2 15 oz cans whole peeled tomatoes
- salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 large handfuls fresh spinach rinsed well and towel dried-roughly chopped
Heat the oil over medium heat in a large saucepan.
Add the onions and cook 3-5 minutes until translucent but not browned.
Add the garlic, paprika and bay leaves and cook for another minute.
Add the tomatoes and break them up a bit.
Add the beans and season with salt and pepper.
Stir well, reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat and stir in the spinach. Cover for 5 minutes, to just wilt the spinach.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and enjoy!
