Reverse Your Fatty Liver Beet Hummus

- 1 can chickpea/garbanzo beans
- 2 small beets
- 2 cloves garlic cloves (whole, peeled)
- juice from 1/2 lemon
- 2 tsp tahini
- pinch salt to taste
Rinse and cut roots off beets.
Place beets in pot over medium/high heat and cover with water.
Once water starts to boil, bring down heat to medium and continue to cook until beets are soft and tender (use a fork to poke them).
Once soft & tender, remove from pot and place aside until finished with next steps.
Place chickpeas in your blender along with garlic, lemon juice, tahini and salt.
When beets are cool enough place them in the blender as well and process until everything is creamy.
Taste and feel free to add more lemon, more salt, or more tahini as you wish.
