Put all ingredients into a saucepan and stir with a whisk.
Once combined, turn on heat and bring mixture to a boil while stirring constantly.
Let simmer on low to medium heat about one minute until sauce is stretchy.
Enjoy immediately.
- If sauce is too think, add more coconut milk
- If you don't like coconut milk, you can use any plant-based milk. The higher the fat content, the better the taste of the cheese sauce.
- You can store the sauce for 48 hours but it'll change the texture. Reheat by adding more milk.
- Depending on the type of nutritional yeast you buy - your sauce may be lighter or brighter.
